Full-time / 37 Hours Per Week / Permanent
Join our dynamic and vibrant Enrolment Team, as part of Learner Services, to act as the first point of contact for potential learners and visitors.
This is a full time, permanent role working 37 hours a week Monday to Friday. Appointment to the role will mainly be at the Adult Education College or Bishopdale Learning Hub, however, on occasion you’ll be expected to work at other sites across the city. Opening times are Monday to Thursday 8.30am-9.00pm and 8.30am-4.30pm on a Friday. You’ll be required to work evenings and Saturdays on a rota basis.
What you’ll be doing
Providing help and support you’ll play an integral role in informing and spreading awareness of our courses, enrolment process and payment plans to potential learners. In addition, you’ll contact current learnings regarding their learning and offering support where needed. Your day-to-day duties will also include processing emails and telephone enquiries.
What you’ll need
As the first point of contact, you’ll need excellent customer service skills and an excellent level of English so you can communicate on all forms i.e., over the phone, face-to-face and email communication. You’ll be confident enough to promote the service and be proactive in such promotion/activities. In addition, you must have the ability to accurately and quickly collect and input data.
Appointment to this post will be based on an Enhanced DBS Check for Adults and Children’s.
