Our Revenues and Customer Support division are looking for a vibrant, enthusiastic individual to join the team and act as an ambassador for Leicester City Council, delivering an efficient and effective telephone service for our Customer Contact Centre at York House.
Based at York House, the hours of work are Monday to Friday over 3 different shift patterns between 07:45am and 06:00pm.
What you’ll be doing
Day to day, you'll provide excellent customer care to members of the public. You'll present new ideas and propose resolutions to customers. Being on the front line, you'll provide advice and assistance with service requests for members of the public. Providing a high quality telephone service, you'll give customers access to accurate advice, assistance with service requests.
In addition you'll respond to queries using new technology such as web chat and provide a swift and positive service experience.
Understanding how we work you'll be able to explain complex details in a clear way that meets the needs of every customer.
What you’ll need
Having a good level of communication skills, you'll thrive within this customer focussed environment. Your abilty to work under pressure will play an integral part in this role. With an understanding of the importance of customer care
and you previous experience working in a busy call centre, you'll create a positive customer experience whilst dealing with members of the public in an environment that can sometimes be challenging.
