An exciting opportunity for a full time position has become available working 37 hours per week. The working week is 8.00am to 16.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am to 15.30pm Friday.
What you will be doing
Our aim is to achieve right first time service to all customers across the City of Leicester. Therefore, with your experience and knowledge of communal district heating systems, you will undertake range of repairs and maintenance tasks to the agreed quality and performance standards, including enabling and finishing works,
Customers are the forefront of the service, and communication is key to run a smooth service. To ensure this, you will liaise with customers to agree suitable appointments, whilst keeping them updated throughout the repair and refurbishment work. in addition to this, you will actively manage stock of parts in your vehicle to ensure efficient completion of work.
What you will need
With experience and knowledge of communal district heating systems, you will arrange appropriate and value for money resources that are required to complete repairs and maintenance whilst keeping cleaning and removing any waste.
You will have practical knowledge of building industry regulations and health and safety, to complete repairs and maintenance tasks, whilst being organised, able to work under pressure and prioritise tasks to meet agreed timescales and targets.
You will be tactful and diplomatic whilst working in domestic properties and dealing with residents, including vulnerable people. You can work well on your own, but also team orientated, to work together and flexibly to achieve the service objectives to achieve right first time.
