Do you have strong business analysis skills and experience in a large and complex organisation? The Finance Project Team are seeking a Business Analyst to work on a range of improvements for our Enterprise Resource Planning software, Unit4 (previously known as Agresso).
We are seeking one postholder to work a 37-hour week. Working hours are typically daytime, Monday to Friday for a fixed-term of two-years. This post is within the Finance Project Team which is based at City Hall and includes working from home from a laptop.
What you’ll be doing:
Your role will involve carrying out both qualitative and quantitative investigation of business processes, capturing and documenting business and system requirements and presenting options to stakeholders and senior managers. Day to day activities will involve managing deliverables within defined work packages, stakeholders and risks over cross-functional teams.
As a Business Analysis you'll develop excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and communicate effectively at all levels.
What you’ll need:
You'll be a confident and articulate Business Analyst with experience of utilising key business analysis tools and techniques to achieve positive outcomes and have the ability to work with minimal supervision.
With well-developed analytical and communication skills as well as excellent IT skills, you'll work to timescales in defined work packages while maintaining appropriate project documentation.
You'll have the ability to work under pressure whilst remaining flexible in your approach to provide effective and creative solutions that introduce positive change.
It would be preferrable if you have previous working knowledge of finance systems.
